Rushlake Green is a tiny Sussex village in the South of England. It’s where I live. I’ve been painting in watercolour since 1970, views of the South Downs, farm buildings, trees, things in my cottage etc. The details of paintings shown here show the sort of thing I do. I love the way that watercolour does it’s own thing, and watch in delight as one colour runs into another. People say my work has a quietness about it. My influences are many, but Pierre Bonnard, Giorgio Morandi and Ellsworth Kelly are high on my list. If you would like to know the prices of my work, see the original paintings
that are available for purchase, which I look forward to hearing from you. Chris Liddiard |
